An Introduction to Amazon Bedrock - With Practical Model Usage Examples

GenAI has captured widespread attention, and Amazon Bedrock represents AWS's hub for Foundation Models. Bedrock provides access to a range of leading Large Language Models (LLMs) including Meta's "LLama", AI21's "Jurassic", as well as offerings from Cohere, Mistral, and Anthropic's latest, Claude 3, in both Haiku and Sonnet versions. Additionally, it features image generation models like Amazon Titan Image G1 and Stability AI's "Stable Diffusion XL (SDXL)".

In this session, Arne Solheim from Webstep will demonstrate how you can leverage Bedrock to evaluate and utilize these models effectively using its graphical user interface, command-line interface, and software development kits. The session will also cover the implementation of RAG through Bedrock Knowledge bases and the use of Bedrock Agents, complete with demonstrations.
